Some Abnormal Hydrodynamics Effects in Petroleum Industrial Processes

Three different petroleum industrial processes are considered and the results of CFD simulations are presented.

Theoretical analysis of technological processes is one of the most important applications of multiphase systems mechanics. The effectiveness of conceptual principles of multiphase systems mechanics in modeling of gas and vapor-liquid flows in power and petroleum refinery industry was demonstrated in the works R.~I.~Nigmatulin (1990) and other authors. The notion of technological process has the direct relation to realization of phase transition and chemical reactions.
