A physically based mathematical model of single-bubble sonoluminescence was chosen and tested by comparing results obtained in 1D calculations with experimental data and also with the results of calculations performed at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The paper addresses the feasibility of phenomenon scaling by increasing pressure and cavity size in order to increase the mass of compressed gas and achieve high density and temperature in it. Proposed is the schematic of e test bench for experiments on scaling effects on the collapse of gas-filled bubble under the action of sonic waves with amplitudes of ~ 100 atm.
