Fundamentals of the Radio-Frequency Electromagnetic Technology to Develop the Resources of Unconventional Hydrocarbons

The paper considers the problems connected with the substantiation of a fundamentally new radio-frequency electromagnetic technology for recovery of unconventional sources of hydrocarbons such as highly viscous heavy and bituminous oil, gas hydrates, etc. The interconnected system of thermohydrodynamic and electrodynamic equations describing processes in such systems is offered which takes into account chemical transformations and phase transitions. The relations permitting to calculate the main technological parameters of the process and to estimate efficiency of the technology are offered.
